"A Life in a Day" is the first segment of the sixth episode of season 6, and it is paired up with "Sun Bleached." In this episode, Patrick gets inspired to live a dangerous life after seeing Larry's daredevil antics.

Plot[edit]
SpongeBob and Patrick are at Goo Lagoon, when Larry comes by on a motorcycle and does some daredevil antics. He says everyone should live their lives to the fullest. When he sees SpongeBob and Patrick, he tells everyone how pathetic their lives and that they should live like Larry to redeem their lives.
Later, SpongeBob is blowing bubbles, when Patrick sees some sea horses and uses this moment to live like Larry. He rides around on one of the sea horses, while SpongeBob rides on a kiddie ride sea horse. Later, Patrick, all bandaged up, takes SpongeBob to A #1 Wreckers to do another daredevil activity. He thinks it's dangerous and backs out, while Patrick jumps onto the conveyor belt and gets crushed by the machinery.
Awhile later, Patrick comes back to SpongeBob's house so he can bring him to a giant ramp leading into a trench. SpongeBob tries to convince Patrick that this isn't what living like Larry is about and doesn't participate, but Patrick goes down the ramp anyways.
SpongeBob is at the Krusty Krab, when he sees Patrick getting chased down by bikers. When he reaches the restaurant, he says he went too far. When the bikers arrive, SpongeBob tries to tell them to forgive Patrick, but when he knocks down their motorcycles, they start chasing the both of them. SpongeBob ends up enjoying getting chased and soon after, puts himself and Patrick on the top of a ballast.
Larry sees them and likes that they are now living like him, until he realizes their angle of trajectory will land them in Rippers Reef. He tries to stop the arrow by using a life preserver, but gets hooked on himself and all three end up at the hospital. SpongeBob wants to go down a cool ramp down the hall and wonders what Larry would do, only for him to chase him down.
