The soap press is a machine in the basement of Mr. Krabs and Pearl's house. It appears in "Barnacle Face."

Description[edit]

The soap press is a brown machine with multiple gauges. It requires a lever to be pulled to turn it on. After this, an object can be inserted through the top, which is placed on a grate and smashed into a soap bar. The soap travels on a conveyor belt and is deposited in a container.

Role in episode[edit]

When SpongeBob goes into Mr. Krabs's basement, he sees Mr. Krabs struggling with the lever of the soap press. After helping him pull it down, Mr. Krabs demonstrates the machine by making soap out of Krabby Patties. Pearl enters and is outraged, as SpongeBob realizes that the soap is what caused more of Pearl's barnacles to appear.
