'''"20,000 Patties Under the Sea"''' is the first segment of the seventeenth episode of [[season 5]], and it is paired with "[[The Battle of Bikini Bottom]]." In this episode, [[Mr. Krabs]] makes [[SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick]] run a traveling [[Krusty Krab]], while [[Plankton]] tries to do the same thing.

==Plot==
SpongeBob is scared of a jellyfish stinging him, while trying to inform Patrick about it. They bump into each other and start to panic, until they bump into what they find out is a submarine which they dig out from the ground. They start riding it, while Mr. Krabs at the [[Krusty Krab]] complains about not having any customers. He gets the idea to bring the Krusty Krab to the customers.

When SpongeBob and Patrick crash the submarine into the restaurant, he makes them use the submarine as a road Krusty Krab. Plankton sees this and gets angry as he had that idea years ago, so he uses the [[Chum Bucket glove]] as a traveling restaurant of his own. SpongeBob and Patrick serve their first customers, but they don’t want their food. They eventually order when they say they’ll pay them.

Meanwhile, a kid orders from Plankton, but has trouble ordering and he tells him to waste his time, only for his mother to complain about his attitude, leading to him making fun of the whole family. However, the citizens riot and throw rocks at him, while Patrick accidentally causes all the patties to burn. The citizens don’t have any more rocks, so SpongeBob sells the burnt patties to them so they can continue throwing them at Plankton. 

Afterward, they continue driving when they see that an abyss is in front of them, and fall into it before they can stop the submarine. They land on a big sea monster and wake him up. SpongeBob asks if he is hungry, which he is, so he feeds him a Krabby Patty. He loves it and orders more, while paying them big cash. Plankton notices and drops a chum charge on them, only for them to use the chum spilling into the submarine to further satisfy the sea monster. 

Plankton comes down and tells him not to pay SpongeBob and Patrick anymore, only to slip and get covered in mud, while the sea monster thinks he’s dessert. 
Later, SpongeBob and Patrick crash the submarine into the Krusty Krab again. However, they had to let go of the money to get out of the abyss while bringing a large stash of decorative deep sea rocks, to Mr. Krabs’ dismay.
