Editing Accidents Will Happen

'''"Accidents Will Happen"''' is the first segment of the first episode of [[season 8]], and it is paired up with "[[The Other Patty]]." In this episode, Squidward gets injured on the job, so SpongeBob tries to figure out how it happened.

==Plot==
Mr. Krabs is at his desk, when he realizes there's an angry mob outside. One of them tells him that Squidward is not at his post, so he goes to SpongeBob to ask where he is. He says he's in the storage room, so they go there, only to see that the bun shelf had collapsed onto him, and got injured on the job. When he realizes this could mean major fines to him, Mr. Krabs gets SpongeBob to treat him, but this only causes further pain to him. 

When Squidward says he will report him to the OWS, Mr. Krabs says he'll do anything, so he's forced to pamper him as well as man the register until he gets better. Meanwhile, SpongeBob is filling out the OWS report form, but when he mentions criminal negligence, Mr. Krabs gets worried and tells him they should do their own investigation as he thinks Squidward is hiding something.

In the storage room, SpongeBob uses Patrick in order to figure out the cause of the accident, but they can't find a definite answer. At the same time, Mr. Krabs brings Squidward his tea, and afterwards he asks him for a full tentacle massage. At first he refuses, but when Squidward starts calling the OWS, he immediately stops him and gets the fry grease from the storage room to massage him.

When a customer wants to order food, Mr. Krabs goes to the kitchen and cooks up a patty with fry grease all over it from his hands. Afterwards, Squidward asks him to pop his back barnacles, disgusting him and causing the rest of the customers in the restaurant to leave. The OWS inspector arrives, as SpongeBob had called him due to his inability to find out what happened.

In the storage room, Squidward tells a story where one time he was working, and he realized that one guy's bun had 10 seeds instead of 11. Because of this, he took that bun and went into the storage room to get a new bun. Unfortunately, the shelf collapsed on him and he was left stranded for 6 hours. After hearing this story, the inspector charges Mr. Krabs 1 dollar for the injury, making him cry.

Fortunately, he realizes he had installed a video camera in the room, where it shows that Squidward had actually rested on the shelf before falling down. This makes him angry and he forces Squidward pamper him as payback for what he did.
