'''"Chimps Ahoy"''' is the first segment of the tenth episode of [[season 4]], and it is paired with "[[Ghost Host]]." In this episode, [[SpongeBob]] and [[Patrick]] try to make a great invention for [[Sandy]] to show to her [[Tree Dome Enterprises Limited|bosses]] so she can stay in [[Bikini Bottom]].

==Plot==
SpongeBob is given a box by the mailman with a backscratcher inside, so he and Patrick start using it. They then go to [[Sandy’s treedome]], where she is worried as her bosses are coming for an inspection and none of her inventions are anything impressive. She wants to leave [[Bikini Bottom]] as she thinks of herself as a failure.

SpongeBob and Patrick don’t want this to happen, so they try to invent something, only for their attempts to prove futile. Outside, they hear Sandy sing a song about how much she’ll miss Bikini Bottom when she leaves. SpongeBob realizes they’ve given up too soon, so he and Patrick continue trying to make an invention. They finally make one just as Sandy’s bosses arrive. 

They introduce themselves and SpongeBob and Patrick show them their invention, which is the [[The Automatic Backscratcher, Hair Comber, Nose Picker, and Ukulele Tuner 9000]]. Patrick makes Lord Reginald test the machine out. It ends up doing everything its name suggests and he enjoys the machine. However, it starts going out of control and hurts Lord Reginald, until eventually he gets spit out. 

At the same time, Sandy notices what’s going on right before she leaves and goes back to her treedome. Professor Percy wants to close the establishment immediately and they start to leave. Dr. Marmalade gets hungry and gets a banana, which Sandy’s nutcracker peels. The chimps think it’s a banana peeler and offer Sandy a 20-year contract for this invention, allowing Sandy to stay in Bikini Bottom.
