| SpongeBob and Patrick play [[Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy]], and use the [[invisible boatmobile]] to reach [[Squidward's house|Doctor Negative's "lair"]]. When they try to climb it, Squidward realizes what they're doing and makes them fall. Later, they see Squidward taking care of his garden, and, thinking he's raising an army of mutant vegetables, destroys it.

| It's time to go to the [[Krusty Krab]], so they head to work, but SpongeBob and Patrick still act as Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star, only to end up destroying everything. When Mr. Krabs sees this, he brings Squidward to his room and shows him his secret room of comics, and has them both play as Captain Tightwad and Doctor Negative.

| Tightwad and Negative go against Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star, until SpongeBob says the villains should commit a crime before they fight. They pretend to rob a [[First Nautical Bank|bank]], but end up getting seriously injured by one of the bodyguards. Later, they stop by a [[Evil Stör|store]] to get evil props for their evil lair.

| One hour later, they set up a scene where the villains have Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star in a cage over a pool of boiling oil as the crime they make so they can fight. However, Doctor Negative activates the machine pulling down the cage to get revenge for how much he has suffered from SpongeBob and Patrick.

| However, they swing the cage back and forth to knock over the machine, which causes Tightwad and Negative to fall into the boiling oil. The Krusty Krab ends up getting destroyed, and Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star drive off in the invisible boatmobile.
