'''"Planet of the Jellyfish"''' is the second segment of the seventeenth episode of [[season 8]], and it is paired up with "[[Are You Happy Now?]]" In this episode, an evil jellyfish clones all of the Bikini Bottomites, so [[SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob]] and [[Sandy Cheeks|Sandy]] have to stop it.

==Plot==
SpongeBob is at [[Jellyfish Fields]] with Patrick, who gets tired. As he goes to sleep, SpongeBob goes near a small cave to jellyfish, as the Jellien Leader is creating jelliens out of jellyfish. One jellien goes on top of Patrick as he's still asleep and transforms him into a jellien version of himself. SpongeBob comes back, having caught a jellien, thinking it's a new breed of jellyfish. Patrick suggests they should give a jellien to each of his friends after SpongeBob sees that he has caught many of them.

They first give one to Squidward, who transforms him to a jellien. SpongeBob goes home, where as he's asleep, the jellien he caught tries to capture him, but he's unable to sleep and goes downstairs to watch TV. The jellien tries to capture him there, but he thinks it wants popcorn, and throws some at it, causing it to choke.

The next day, SpongeBob puts the jellien in a cage while he goes to work. When he leaves, the jellien captures Gary. At the Krusty Krab, a large line of customers who have been turned into jelliens are waiting for Krabby Patties. When one customer, who wasn't captured, wants more mayo in his Krabby Patty, the others get angry and jellien Mr. Krabs gives him a jellien hat and tells him they are out of mayonnaise. 

SpongeBob goes into the kitchen, only to find out Patrick is manning the grill. He goes to get mayonnaise from the freezer, but realizes that all his friends have been captured by the jellien leader. He gets out of the restaurant quickly, while getting chased by jelliens. 

He reaches Sandy's house, where she first suspects him of being a jellien, but finds out he's the real SpongeBob after tickling him on his tummy(AKA his tickle spot) and then frees him because now she knows that he is not a jellyfish clone. She says they need to find out about the jellien's weakness, and the two realize it's mayonnaise. They use glasses that resemble jellien eyes to get to the Krusty Krab safely, but when they encounter Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob accidentally knocks Sandy's glasses off by elbowing her.

He goes for the condiment stand and shoots the mayonnaise jar at the jelliens, causing them to melt. After melting all of them, they go into the freezer and attempt to shoot the mayonnaise at the leader. Unfortunately, it's too cold and it freezes. Sandy finds the thermostat and changes the temperature so the mayonnaise will melt, causing the jellien leader to melt along with the other jelliens. 

After SpongeBob tells everyone else what had happened, it is back to normal in Bikini Bottom. However, when Patrick wants to hold the mayo, SpongeBob suspects him.
