"The Endless Summer" is an educational two minute short that first aired on June 30, 2005. In the short, SpongeBob finds that Mr. Krabs is trying to take advantage of global warming to keep the weather hot enough for the Krusty Krab's Krusty Pool to be kept open all year.

Reception[edit]

The short has been criticized by conservative news outlets, most notably Fox News. On August 3, 2011, six years after the premiere of "The Endless Summer", news anchors on Fox News's "Fox & Friends" segment claim that the short pushes a liberal agenda.[1]
