"Reef Blower" is the second segment of the first episode of season 1, and it is paired with "Help Wanted" and "Tea at the Treedome." In this episode, SpongeBob attempts to rid his lawn of a shell.

Plot

When Squidward sees a "leaf" on his lawn, he thinks it ruins the perfection of his lawn, so he pretends to accidentally kick it onto SpongeBob's lawn. SpongeBob thinks the same thing, and he gets out his reef-blower (an underwater version of a leaf blower). He blows the shell (with a large column of sand) onto Squidward, and then sucks it all into the reef-blower. The reef-blower malfunctions because it can't hold that much sand, and refuses to start. SpongeBob pulls the cord extremely far away, and it finally starts, but sucks all water. The reef-blower explodes leaving piles of sand all over Squidward's lawn, but SpongeBob's lawn perfectly clean.
