Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

Mr. Krabs is ordering groceries, when he sees SpongeBob pick up a penny from outside. Later, he's driving in his boat, when he imagines several circular objects as pennies, making him insane and want the penny SpongeBob found.

The next day at the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs asks SpongeBob if he wants to share something, but he says he's sharing the brand new day. He goes into the kitchen, only for Mr. Krabs to appear again and ask for a penny. He checks all his pockets but he has no penny, so Mr. Krabs shakes him, only for his brain to fall out. They chase the brain around the restaurant until SpongeBob catches it and puts it back inside himself.

Later, Mr. Krabs sets up a movie theater where admission is only one penny, but despite SpongeBob wanting to see one, he doesn't have a penny to cough up. At night, SpongeBob enters the Krusty Krab to find out Mr. Krabs is having a charity night. He has a presentation about pennies and asks the audience to give him a penny. SpongeBob wants to give one, but he doesn't have one, making Mr. Krabs angry.

He spies on SpongeBob later that night, and when he comes out of his house, he got inside to try and find a penny with a metal detector. As he's checking inside Gary for the penny, SpongeBob comes back, and as he's wondering what's going on, he tells him he just wanted the penny he found. It turns out the penny was a piece of gum, so Mr. Krabs leaves. It turns out the gum was actually a $500 bill, and outside, Mr. Krabs is digging the ground, still trying to find the penny.
