SpongeBob and Patrick are playing a board game in an obnoxious manner, annoying Squidward. While the two are talking about whether the game is ripe or not as they think they grow from trees, Squidward tells them people make games and that Patrick would be incapable of making one.

He starts to think of several game ideas, but Squidward doesn't enjoy them very well. When he goes to Sandy for help, she tells him he should take several board games he knows and smash them into one big board game. Patrick does exactly that, and creates a board game called Patrick! The Game.

Patrick gets SpongeBob, Sandy, and Squidward to play the game with him. He explains how the game works, but after awhile, Squidward gets annoyed and tells him he should explain how it works as they play. They start playing, but as the game goes on, Squidward is constantly in harm throughout the gameplay.

After awhile, Squidward gets sick of the game due to how random and nonsensical it is and quits. However, the other players come outside with him and continue playing the game. Squidward gets so angry that he smashes the board to pieces, only to end up getting arrested by the police for destroying the gameboard.

  • Patrick! The Game and Starving Starving Seastar are parodies of Monopoly and Hungry Hungry Hippos respectively
  • Instead of having Squidward either roll a 6 or wait for someone to say his name Patrick should have added a Get out of Jail free card.

Running gags[edit]

  • Patrick changing the rules of the game
  • Squidward randomly landing in jail
