“You have been found guilty of willful cheapskatery and flagrant trash flinging.”
Trash inspector

"Sanitation Insanity" is the first segment of the eighth episode of season 11, and it is paired with "Bunny Hunt." In this episode, Mr. Krabs makes SpongeBob and Squidward clean up trash around Bikini Bottom.

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

Mr. Krabs is trying to get rid of his garbage, but because he put all his trash in one bag, it explodes and all the trash flies all over Bikini Bottom. The trash inspectors come and sentence him to clean up the entire town, so he makes SpongeBob and Squidward do it for him.

The two take the garbage truck the inspectors gave them and use it to clean up the garbage through town. At first Squidward drives and SpongeBob rides in the back, but later their roles switch. However, since SpongeBob doesn't have a drivers license, he lets the truck drive itself, leading to ruckus throughout town until Squidward falls off and lands in garbage.

After SpongeBob uses hand sanitizer to clean Squidward, they go back to cleaning. They eventually clean up all the garbage and all that's left is Patrick's garbage. However, he finds out about this and prevents them from taking it. After trying to take it for awhile, Patrick still won't let go, leading to Squidward engaging battle mode for the truck, turning it into a fighter robot.

He once again asks Patrick to hand over his trash, but Patrick denies again. They start fighting each, causing trash to spread all over the place. Mr. Krabs comes to complain that they're ruining his work after trash falls on him at the Krusty Krab, but Squidward gets mad as they were the ones who did the work, leading to more trash fighting between the three and the entire town becoming filthy again. The trash inspectors come once again and sentence them to clean the town manually.
