Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

SpongeBob and Patrick are hanging out at Goo Lagoon, when they see everyone crowding around Craig Mammalton. They learn that he is the tannest man on TV and that he's holding the hottest party of the summer, but SpongeBob and Patrick aren't allowed to come as they aren't tan enough. To become tan, the two use Patrick's house as a tanning bed.

Patrick goes first and successfully gets a perfect tan. SpongeBob gets a tan next, but Patrick forgets to watch over him and leaves him in there for two hours while he hangs out with a group of girls. When he comes back, he takes SpongeBob out, only to have become completely dehydrated. He asks Squidward for help, but he just mocks him and tells him he's sun bleached.

Patrick gives him a makeover by covering him in mud, placing kelp jerky over his teeth, and putting hair on his head. However, as they are walking in town, a woman mistakes him for a monster and beats him up. At Ice Cream, Patrick gets the idea to cover SpongeBob with caramel to make it look like he has a tan.

At the party, SpongeBob and Patrick are let in . They dance with the other partygoers for awhile until SpongeBob's caramel covering melts. Everyone panics after seeing his sun bleached skin except for Craig, he's impressed because he has the ultimate tan. They continue to dance while the tanning lamps are cranked up to "Bleached," causing everyone to turn into dust.
