“You're gonna pay, one way or another.”
Mr. Krabs

"Pat No Pay" is the second segment of the thirteenth episode of season 5, and it is paired with "Picture Day" and "BlackJack." In this episode, Mr. Krabs makes Patrick do chores at the Krusty Krab to pay off his food bill.

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

Patrick enters the Krusty Krab, groaning. SpongeBob explains he is suffering Krabby Patty withdrawal, and that he needs one or he'll keep mumbling about it. Mr. Krabs serves him a large stack of patties, but he doesn't pay for them, so he locks down the restaurant.

He tasks him to clean the bathroom to pay off his bill, but ends up eating the hand soap while doing so. He tasks him to put his ice cube trays into a bucket. However, he ends up smashing the freezer onto the bucket, causing them both to get destroyed.

He finally tasks him to put the trash bags into the trash chute. He also threatens to never give him another patty unless he does the job correctly, so he quickly puts the bags in. Meanwhile, he tasks SpongeBob to put a money bag in his safe.

While completing his task, he sees Patrick struggling to get rid of the trash and tells him he needs to hit the trash compactor switch to get rid of the trash. Patrick thinks the money bag is a garbage bag and puts it in there as well, but it doesn't suck the bag and eventually causes the restaurant to be destroyed. The money gets sucked in afterward, to Mr. Krabs' dismay.
