"The Ballad of Filthy Muck" is the second segment of the episode of season 12, and it is paired with "The Nitwitting." In this episode, Patrick becomes so filthy that he is mistaken for a being made of sludge named Filthy Muck.

Plot[edit]
Patrick wakes up and goes to the Krusty Krab, driving everyone away due to his stinky odor. Mr. Krabs tracks down the smell and kicks Patrick out, making him revolt and want stink-dependence.
Patrick starts rolling around in several grimy areas, until he eventually stumbles on The Dump and plays around in there until he becomes completely covered in filth and starts roaming around the city, making everyone terrified.
SpongeBob finds out about this and reaches him at The Dump, but ends up joining him and plays in the grime with Patrick as well. SpongeBob and Patrick go to several areas, scaring away more people and allowing them to get everything for themselves.
Back at The Dump, the two are relaxing, until the Bikini Bottomites riot against them. They get chased through down, until SpongeBob convinces everyone to clean Patrick. However, when they clean him, Patrick disappears, but it turns out the actual Patrick had went to take a bath, and the filthy Patrick was another creature.
