Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

SpongeBob is going to Sun Fun Island, when Patrick comes and the two get emotional as they are getting separated, only for the other kids to get on the boat and leave, while a prison boat comes to pick up prisoners. SpongeBob tells Patrick he should come to summer camp with him, so they go into the prison boat, thinking it is going to summer camp.

When they reach Inferno Island, the warden welcomes them, only for SpongeBob and Patrick to get excited. He doesn't notice them at first, until SpongeBob says he prefers to recycle during his speech, and thinks of them as rabble rousers. When Patrick says he's hungry, the warden makes the two eat tires, which they eat effortlessly.

They want to take a nap, so the warden throws them in a hole and fills it with chum. Three days later, they come out, having enjoyed their stay in there. Afterward, the warden makes the prisoners mine rocks while wearing heavy ankle weights, which nobody enjoys except SpongeBob and Patrick. At night, SpongeBob is upset as the other campers aren't having as much fun as they are. He gets the idea to write a play which everyone will work on together.

The warden finds out the next day and plans to watch it as it'll be the last act they'll ever perform in their lives. While SpongeBob and Patrick are preparing for the act, the prisoners see that there is a boat in the set which they can escape with, so they help the two. At Opening Night, they perform the play, and the warden loves it.

However, the prisoners try using the boat in the set to get away, only for the boat to sink. As the warden is coming up with a punishment for them, the camp counselor comes and asks if they have SpongeBob. After learning what they do at Sun Fun Island, the warden makes the prisoners go there as their punishment.
