Plot[edit]
SpongeBob and Patrick are bored and try to find something to do, until Squidward kicks them out as they were in his house. Outside, a billboard reading "It's Coming" is put down. They follow several billboards until they reach where the Toy Barrel should be, but it's not there.
They start to cry, but the toy store is put down afterwards and he realizes this when a construction worker tells them. They sing songs and play with the toys in the toy store until it's closing time. However, Patrick doesn't want to leave, so he and SpongeBob hide in the dollhouses and get out once the store is locked.
They become jolly until the lights turn off, scaring them. Patrick tries using his night vision as a light source, but the batteries in the flashlight inside him soon die. The two realize the toys are watching them and start panicking. They then see a shadow of a moving figure, so they hide in the gumball machine.
They get out of there and prepare themselves to fight the shadowy figure, which turns out to be a wind-up robot. They blow bubbles at it, and just when it is about to reach them, it stops. However, Patrick accidentally winds it up again, and end up running out of the store in fear right after it opens again. Patrick warns a kid about the terrors inside the toy store, only to realize they're open and goes back inside.
