“Whirly brains! Whirly brains! Whirly brains!”
SpongeBob and Patrick

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

SpongeBob and Patrick are playing "Stick in a Cup," when a commercial for Whirly Brain appears on TV. They get excited for the new toy as they watch, and afterwards buy it right away.

They take out the propellors from the box and scare each other in order to open up their heads so they can attach the propellors into their brains. Once they do that, they start playing around with their whirly brains and mess around with several people in Bikini Bottom.

At one point, a kid challenges SpongeBob and Patrick to a race, but as they are racing, their brains end up at a cranky old fish's place and he keeps them for himself. They realize they may have lost their minds and start looking for their brains. When they can't find them, they call up Sandy to find them.

Sandy uses a brain detector to find the brains and goes inside the old man's house, but when she finds them, SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally creak the floors in excitement, waking up the old timer. Sandy gets into a fight with him while SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally release all the brains and they all go back to their owners.

The old timer gets upset because he can't take watching the kids have fun in the air while he's stuck on the ground, so they give him the propellers so he can fly around as well.
