“This is my shell.”
Tony

"Shell Games" is the first segment of the tenth episode of season 12, and it is paired with "Senior Discount." In this episode, Patrick finds out that his rock is actually the shell of a sea turtle named Tony.

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

Tony wakes up and gets ready for the day, only to realize he's been out cold for a long time after realizing his shell has crud all over it. As he walks to meet his girls, Patrick also wakes up from under him and gets ready for his day. He takes out his pre-breakfast snack and starts smashing it with a hammer, making Tony annoyed and shake him off.

After Patrick brings his rock back to its original location, thinking the rock was moving on its own, Tony tells him to vamoose as he thinks he's a parasite. After explaining what the word means to him after he mishears him, he glues himself onto the shell as he doesn't want to leave.

Tony goes to Mel's Man Salon to get a shave, and also tells Mel to do it for his shell to get him to go away, but he still stays on the shell. He then takes him to the Bikini Bottom Bath House, where Patrick almost suffocates in there, but is given a drinking straw to drink the water and return to normal.

Tony then checks out his ladies at Goo Lagoon, who are annoyed that Tony came so late. They see Patrick and start feeding him cookies, making him mad and go inside his shell, where Patrick is messing around with Tony's stuff. They get into a fight to try and get each other, causing the shell to go all over town until eventually hitting some coral and breaking.

Tony and Patrick get sad that they no longer have anywhere to live, until Patrick gets the idea to use Squidward's house as his rock and Tony's shell.
