- “If you want me to pay, you'll have to play the Three Deadly Challenges!”
- —Bubble Bass
"Bubble Bass's Tab" is the first segment of the twenty-fourth episode of season 12, and it is paired with "Kooky Cooks." In this episode, Bubble Bass does not pay his tab after ordering food at the Krusty Krab, so Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob and Squidward to his house to try and make him pay.
Plot[edit]
Bubble Bass orders a large amount of food from the Krusty Krab, and refuses to pay Mr. Krabs for it. After he orders through the drive-thru and taunts them, Mr. Krabs gets SpongeBob and Squidward to confront Bubble Bass at his house. They enter, and he challenges them to a life-size recreation of a tabletop game called Three Deadly Challenges. SpongeBob and Squidward attack what they assume to be Bubble Bass, but it turns out to be a dummy; the real Bubble Bass appears and lures them into a bullfighting-style match against Mama Bass. When Squidward wins the match, he then engages in a jousting battle, beating Bubble Bass by punching him in the stomach.
Although admitting defeat, Bubble Bass is unable to pay his tab, having spent all his money on setting up the challenges. Mr. Krabs hires Bubble Bass at the Krusty Krab instead, where he annoys the customers. They complain, and collectively pay off the money Bubble Bass owes in order to get him out of the restaurant. However, Bubble Bass proceeds to make another order and open a new tab, as Mr. Krabs angrily chases after him.
