- “There! A perfect set of legs.”
"Gary's Got Legs" is the first segment of the fourth episode of season 12, and it is paired with "King Plankton." In this episode, SpongeBob gives Gary a set of limbs, but this makes SpongeBob sluggish due to pampering.
SpongeBob is making Gary go for a jog, but he can't because he has no legs. He puts him on a tank to help him move around, but it malfunctions. He gets the idea to break his legs and put them on Gary, as he can regenerate them.
After doing that, he makes him try them out, and after that, they go to the Snail Park. Gary shows off his new legs, until one worm checks him out, making him angry and kick him. He starts kicking several people, making them all run away. SpongeBob dislikes what Gary did, but quickly forgives him and brings him home.
SpongeBob is beat and wants Gary to open the door, but he can't, so SpongeBob gives him arms to compensate for this. Gary starts using his arms often, and pampers SpongeBob for a weekend. However, this prevents him from going to the Krusty Krab, so Gary takes his place.
A customer complains about having slime in his patty to Mr. Krabs, so he investigates and realizes Gary is manning the grill. Mr. Krabs goes to SpongeBob's house to find out what's going on, but realizes SpongeBob has turned into a snail and Gary has become the owner.
Mr. Krabs comes inside and turns SpongeBob back to normal by making him smell a Krabby Patty, and then breaks off Gary's arms and legs with his claws, turning everything back to normal.
