- “Well, now I'm the king!”
"King Plankton" is the second segment of the fourth episode of season 12, and it is paired with "Gary's Got Legs." In this episode, Plankton uses a shrinking belt to declare himself king of SpongeBob's sea chimp aquarium.
SpongeBob gives his aquarium of sea chimps to Karen to take care of as he fears Gary might eat them. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs shoots Plankton back to the Chum Bucket after another failed attempt to steal the formula. He notices the sea chimps and realizes he could use them to practice ruling the world.
He uses a shrinking belt to shrink himself down so he can start ruling the chimps. He makes all the sea chimps his servants, and rules them until one sea chimp shoots a dart at him, leaving him unconscious.
He wakes up later, finding himself tied between sacrificial poles. The sea chimps bring down the tongue, which turns out to be Patrick's tongue, and when it comes down, Plankton bites it. Patrick starts drinking the water inside, but before everyone gets swallowed, Plankton wraps all the sea chimps around his shrinking belt.
At the same time, SpongeBob comes and realizes Patrick is the one who was trying to eat the sea chimps. Afterwards, Plankton enlarges himself and all the sea chimps, and they seek refuge in the Chum Bucket, making Karen abandon bucket.
