"Krusty Towers" is the first segment of the ninth episode of season 4, and it is paired with "Mrs. Puff, You're Fired." In this episode, Mr. Krabs turns the Krusty Krab into a hotel after finding out how much hotels charge for their service.

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

SpongeBob and Squidward are going to the Krusty Krab, when they notice that Mr. Krabs has turned the restaurant into a hotel. He says he went to a fancy hotel which charged ludicrous prices for things like hamburgers, giving him the idea to turn his restaurant into the Krusty Towers with the motto “We shall never deny a guest even the most ridiculous request.”

The two are given their uniforms and the first customer arrives. Mr. Krabs demonstrates how to reel them in, only to fail to reel them in. He makes Squidward man the front desk, and soon after Patrick comes for a Krabby Patty. He finds out it's a hotel and rents a room along with the patty, and has bags filled with rocks which Mr. Krabs forces Squidward to carry up through the employee elevator.

Afterward, Patrick constantly asks Squidward to do things for him until he's had enough and quits. He comes back as a guest and rents a room, while making Mr. Krabs carry him there. He orders a Krabby Patty with cheese, toenail clippings, and nose hairs. SpongeBob brings it, but he wants Mr. Krabs to eat it. After finding out from SpongeBob that the patty doesn't have those ingredients, he eats it, only to realize he meant it didn't have the cheese.

Later, Squidward wants cookies like his grandma's. Mr. Krabs makes homemade cookies, but Squidward says they are not like how his grandma made them. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob then go to his grandmother to get her to make the cookies and give them to Squidward. Afterward, he asks them to redesign his room. They do several redesigns until he accepts the same design as when they started.

He then wants an indoor swimming pool, so Mr. Krabs puts one in his room. Squidward and SpongeBob enjoy it in the pool, but when Patrick jumps in it, he causes the entire hotel to crash down. All four end up at the hospital, where Mr. Krabs finds out the hospital business is where the money is and sends the others to medical school.

Trivia/Goofs[edit]
