“Brr! Getting cold out. Must be fall. I hate to say it, little clams, but it's time for you all to fly home to warmer climates.”
SpongeBob

"The Clam Whisperer" is the second segment of the first episode of season 11, and it is paired with "Cave Dwelling Sponge." In this episode, a group of wild clams follows SpongeBob around, harming the townsfolk.

Characters[edit]

Plot[edit]

SpongeBob is checking out the clams during their migration season, and Patrick wants to join the fun as well. However, he struggles to use the binoculars, so the two just use their eyes. They check out the several different types of clams, and then SpongeBob spreads Krabby Patty meat everywhere for the clams to eat. However, Patrick eats it all and then falls asleep. He once again spreads the meat, and the clams arrive to feed.

Meanwhile, Squidward is creating artwork, but the clams constantly disturb him. They eventually surround him and poop on him, forcing him to shut his windows and take a long bath. Meanwhile, SpongeBob is going to work, only to find out that the clams are following him. He at first wants them to come home, but they still follow him, so he lets them do so.

When he reaches work, he leaves them outside, leading to them scaring the customers. SpongeBob sees this and brings them inside to prevent this from happening, but they cause havoc inside the restaurant as well. Mr. Krabs tells him to get the clams out, but when he realizes they shoot pearls, he says mean comments to them so he can get money out of them, until SpongeBob brings them out of the restaurant.

The clams cause more havoc throughout town as SpongeBob tries to control them, until the townsfolk make him drive the clams out of town as they are wild animals. He leads them out of town for an entire season until he comes back to Bikini Bottom, where he now sleeps in a nest and shoots pearls.
