SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is a 3D platformer video game in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. It was developed by Heavy Iron Studios and published by THQ. The game received a multi-platform release for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube in 2003. There is also a Microsoft Windows version, which is vastly different because it is a mini-game collection, and a Game Boy Advance version, which is a 2D platformer.
In 2020, the game received a remake, titled SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated. Like the original version, the game also received a multi-platform release, except for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The remake features a multiplayer mode and unused content from the original game.
